To change the format or aspect ratio of your video, tap on Scale. We support editing and exporting the following formats:
9:16 - Vertical
16:9 - Widescreen
1:1 - Square
4:5 Partial vertical
To change your content fit:
Fill - Your video will be scaled to fill the entire frame. If your video's aspect ratio is not the same as the frame, you'll notice that the video will be cropped.
Fit - Your video will be scaled to fit entirely within the frame. If your video's aspect ratio is not the same as the frame, you'll see black pillars on the sides.
Auto - Your video will fill the entire frame and we'll use AI to attempt to center the frame on the important content of the video.
Tips:
To check the format of your original video, open the video in the Photos app and swipe up to view the details of your video. You will be able to view: Resolution, Format, Size, Frames Per Second, and length.
