In addition to iOS, Captions has a number of free tools available on our <a href="https://www.captions.ai/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">website</a>. We offer a free trial of Captions Pro. When signing up, ensure you have your free trial enabled.

Captions Pro can be purchased either as a monthly or yearly service and the yearly subscription comes with a discount - no discount code needed. Simply choose the yearly option and you'll automatically receive the discount.

Is there a free version of Captions?

If you sign up on the iOS app, we offer a free trial of Captions Pro. After it expires, there is no free version. We do offer free tools on our <a href="https://www.captions.ai/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">website</a>.

Are there any limits on Captions Pro?

No. There are no limits on number of transcriptions, projects, or exports.

What is the maximum length of videos I can caption?

The maximum length of videos we can transcribe is 5 minutes.

Can I sign in to multiple devices?

Yes. In order to sign in on multiple devices, you must be signed in to the same iCloud account on all devices as your subscription is associated with your Apple ID, not your sign in method.

Can I share Captions Pro with my colleague or assistant?

No. You must purchase Captions Pro for each individual looking to use Captions. We are in the process of creating a business/teams offering.

Yes. If you need to use a corporate credit card, please get in touch and we can help you connect a payment method other than the one associated with your personal Apple account.
