Manage Subscription & Billing
Learn how to manage and adjust your Captions subscription plan
You can use Captions on multiple devices, as long as they’re all signed in with the same login method that has an active subscription.
You can sign up with your email address and log in by entering a verification code that gets sent to your email address. However, you cannot set a password for it.
At this time, it is not possible to change your login method. You can cancel your exisitng subscription and sign up with a new login method.
Learn how to delete your account here
Please navigate to the Profile section of the app and you’ll see the login method you used to sign up.
Unfortunately, accounts cannot be restored. However, if you subscribed via App Store or Play Store, you can simply register with a new login method and when you see the option, choose “restore subscription.”
Subscriptions can be restored on other devices. The instructions on restoring your subscription will vary depending on how you subscribed.
- If you purchased via the Apple App Store, your subscription is connected to your AppleID, not the method you used to sign up.
- As a reminder, your Apple ID is the account that you use to access all Apple services and make all of your devices work together seamlessly.
- You can see your Apple ID by tapping on the Settings app, and you’ll see your name on the top.
- You can only restore your subscription on devices that are also signed into the same Apple ID. Simply sign in and tap “Restore Subscription.”
- If you purchased via the Google Play Store, your subscription is connected to your Google account, not the method you use to sign up.
- As a reminder, your Google account is the account that you use to access Google services in one place and it is possible to sign in to more than one Google account on the Play Store.
- You can only restore your subscription on devices that are also signed into the same Google account.
- If you paid on our website via Stripe, your subscription is connected to the method you used to sign up (Google, Apple, Microsoft, or phone number).
- To restore your subscription on a new device, simply log in with the same method you used to sign up.
Captions subscriptions are intended for single users and cannot be shared. If you are interested in collaborating with team members, check out Mirage Studio.
